1. Who is responsible?

Rebel Breath Club, also trading as The Breath Club, is responsible for the personal data described here. KvK: 98592270. Address: Aletta Jacobslaan 88, 2314 GB Leiden, the Netherlands. Contact: rommert@thebreathclub.co.

2. What information is collected?

Depending on how you contact or book, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, booking and payment information, correspondence, attendance history, and information you voluntarily provide about your health, medication, pregnancy, injury or accessibility needs.

Please share only health information relevant to safe participation.

3. Why is it used?

Information is used to answer enquiries, arrange and administer sessions, process or confirm payments, communicate practical or safety information, assess whether a session may be suitable, maintain legally required financial records, handle complaints, and establish or defend legal claims where necessary.

4. Legal bases

Ordinary booking and contact data is processed where necessary to take steps at your request, perform an agreement, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate business interests. Health information is sensitive personal data and is processed only where you have given explicit consent or another lawful exception applies. You may withdraw consent, although this does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. Who receives information?

Information is not sold. It may be handled by service providers needed for email, messaging, website hosting, administration or payments, and by professional advisers or authorities where legally necessary.

When you book or pay through DankjeWellness or The Calm Company, that venue processes information under its own privacy policy and acts independently for its booking system. Only information necessary to organise and safely deliver the session should be shared with The Breath Club.

6. Website, analytics and external services

The website is hosted by Vercel, which may process technical information such as IP address, device details and request logs for delivery and security.

With your permission, Google Analytics is used to understand visits, page use and general interaction with the site. Analytics is not loaded until you choose to allow it, advertising storage remains disabled, and you can withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Google may process device, browser, approximate location and usage information under its own privacy terms.

The site also links to email, WhatsApp and Spotify; using those services is governed by their own privacy terms. The Breath Club does not use advertising trackers or behavioural profiling.

7. Photography and video

Photos or video may occasionally be made during a session for The Breath Club’s website, social media or other promotional communication. This will be announced in advance. Identifiable promotional images will only be used when you have made a separate, affirmative choice to consent.

You may decline without giving a reason or losing your place in the session. Tell the facilitator before or during the session and reasonable steps will be taken to keep you out of identifiable footage. You may later withdraw consent by emailing rommert@thebreathclub.co. The Breath Club will stop future use and remove material it controls where reasonably possible, although copies already shared or downloaded by others may be outside its control.

8. Retention and security

Data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable tax, accounting, dispute or legal obligations. Health screening information should be reviewed regularly and deleted when no longer needed for safety or legal claims. Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used, but no method of communication or storage is completely risk-free.

9. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where the GDPR provides those rights. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Send requests to rommert@thebreathclub.co; identity may need to be verified before responding.

Something unclear?

Policies should be understandable. Send your question and I’ll be happy to explain.
